Anna Walther BAD REFLECTION
16.03.18 - 30.03.18

Prized privileges and Mom's spaghetti
Brightly lit and glaring, a bad-bitch signature
BBcream and role-play grin
Fatty wheat in an embroiled jewellery box
From imprint to out-of-print
fragrant and banished

With inspiration from Celtic knots, wheat weaving and beauty products, Anna Walther explores ideas of ownership and other human drives.

In a story where both Rapunzel and Mother Earth appear.

In a fist-fight on the world's corn field - wearing internet slang, crops and papier-mâché.

Masked fascistoid tendencies will be exposed with an equal share of humor and seriousness.

Bad Reflection is a fidelity story between environment, nature and cultural heritage.

Anna Walther graduated from the Funen Art Academy in 2017.

Her practice takes a starting point in a female bodily tale that sculpturally reproduces itself.

The exhibition is kindly supported by Odense Municipality.
